Food Menus

Tutor Time menus are created using federal Dietary guidelines to ensure we're providing the best nutrition possible for your child. Tutor Time provides two snacks, AM and PM which are well balanced and follow federal Dietary guidelines to ensure the best nutrition possible for your child. We also maintain a PEANUT FREE ZONE, as snacks are not served with any nuts.

Children with allergies to certain foods are increasingly more common, therefore we pay special attention, providing allergy lists with pictures, and also listing alternatives to the food the child is allergic to in every classroom.

Snack and lunch time provides opportunities for children to practice many important social and self help skills such as: taking turns, passing food to others, pouring beverages, and portioning food. Teachers encourage developing language skills by sitting with the children and talking about the foods they are enjoying together. Children often want to try new foods when they see other children and adults eating them. It is a relaxed, unhurried time in which everyone is together as a family.

We accommodate dietary restrictions.
